Saint Zacharie is rightfully called ‘the fountains village’. It is watered by 16 fountains adorning public places, most of them erected by the mid 19th century.
The village has also other various elements of heritage:
- The ‘Saint Jean Baptiste church’, (inscribed to the additional Ancient monuments inventory) with parts dating from the 11th century, the ‘Holy shoe of the Virgin’ relic (named 'Lou San Sabatoun' in Provencal language)
- The ‘Saint Clair chapel’, dating from the 16th century
- The ‘Penitents chapel’, (inscribed to the additional Ancient monuments inventory), dating from 1844: woodworks of the choir, stalls, preach-pulpit, stand with balustrade, communion gate…
- The ‘Moulin Blanc Park’, is one of the most beautiful gardens in Provence. It is inscribed to the additional Ancient monuments inventory.
Created in 1850, it has been open to the public since 1997: the Gaston de Saporta Arboretum presents various species (bamboo field, sequoias…) and a 19th century castle (a private property still belonging to the De Saporta’s Family). There are also more than 10 oratories.
- The Farouquette: this house was offered by Reda Caire (a famous French singer of the 1930’s and 1940’s) to his mother, in 1934.
