Surrounded by hills, the landscape of Provence of this village kept all its authenticity and will charm in love ones with the excursion.

With 12th, Pierre Brémond, lord of Auriol, made build a castle and became the lord about it (object of disputes with the abbey Victor saint). Its descendants, Esparron, preserved of them the rights until the beginning of the 15th century.
The castle was destroyed at the end of the 16th century by the duke of Epernon.

Small sinuous lanes, flowered and accessible small squares, the ochre pallet of the houses of this village confer on Peypin a very particular charm to which many visitors already succumbed.

Not to fail not to visit the ruins of the old castle, the parish church and its beautiful bell-tower. Without forgetting, with the entry of the village, a beautiful oil press of antan.
